I learned a couple of things at this wedding:

1. Having too much hairspray in your hair makes it even hotter out – I think.

2. Crying while shooting the first dance is very hard.

3. Catching the bouquet is really, really fun.

and finally

4. It’s amazing when you can actually FEEL the love between two people.

Did an overnighter up at the cabin. I didn’t realize how much I wanted to get away from the cities until I was driving back from the cabin! It was great I hope to spend some more time up there soon!

And this was the BEST way to sit for the 4 hour drive. . .

Photos for sale!

Over the past week or so, my photos have been shown at the Presbyterian General Assembly here in Minneapolis! They used my photos of anything including lakes and prairies (y’know, because Minnesota is full of that pretty stuff!).

Anyway, people have been interested in purchasing prints! To make things easier, I’ll be setting up a gallery with those photos. So, if you see something that you LOVE, go ahead and buy it!

The gallery is under the proofing section on my website here and the password will be “ART2010″.

I’m posting this blog from my day job (don’t worry! I’m on a break!) but I’ll try to get the photos uploaded this evening!

I am so excited to post the full blog for Amanda & Andy’s wedding, but I have to put something in between the sneak peak and the blog post. Except, life has been busy and I am finding myself not having time to take fun photos! So, here are some from last weekend. Sunday morning, Brian, Erin and I hit up the lake walk. It was GORGEOUS out. Perfect weather, not too sunny and definitely not windy.

Good job Duluth!

This next one is a happy accident.

I’ve never been on the Vista cruises. Maybe I should try to go next time I’m in Duluth!

In just 3 short weeks, these two will be having their BIG day! But yesterday, they decided to legally tie the knot. I was lucky enough to be a witness/photographer for the 15 minutes we spent at the over look. This is how it went down:

Joel (officiant): Do you?
Anthony: Yeah.
Joel: Do you?
Rana: Yeah.
Joel: By the power invested in me by the state of Minnesota and the internet, ya’ll are married.

We briefly talked about walking around St. Paul and asking if anyone wanted to get married. We had a photographer, an officiant and witnesses! What more could people need?

Anyway, here are some of the photos. I can’t wait for July 10!

Seriously, I need to have uglier friends!

Carrie and I met up for dinner. It was delicious! The service was fun, the food was good and the conversation was GREAT. Let me just say that I adore this girl! She’s so great! And the things I admitted to over a caramel sundae?! Thank you, Carrie, for not judging!

After dinner, we hit up a near by park and took some photos. How pretty is this girl?! Sheesh!
