Did an overnighter up at the cabin. I didn’t realize how much I wanted to get away from the cities until I was driving back from the cabin! It was great
I hope to spend some more time up there soon!
And this was the BEST way to sit for the 4 hour drive. . .

Over the past week or so, my photos have been shown at the Presbyterian General Assembly here in Minneapolis! They used my photos of anything including lakes and prairies (y’know, because Minnesota is full of that pretty stuff!).
Anyway, people have been interested in purchasing prints! To make things easier, I’ll be setting up a gallery with those photos. So, if you see something that you LOVE, go ahead and buy it!
The gallery is under theĀ proofing section on my website here and the password will be “ART2010″.
I’m posting this blog from my day job (don’t worry! I’m on a break!) but I’ll try to get the photos uploaded this evening!
Enjoy and Thank You in advance!

I am so excited to post the full blog for Amanda & Andy’s wedding, but I have to put something in between the sneak peak and the blog post. Except, life has been busy and I am finding myself not having time to take fun photos! So, here are some from last weekend. Sunday morning, Brian, Erin and I hit up the lake walk. It was GORGEOUS out. Perfect weather, not too sunny and definitely not windy.
Good job Duluth!
This next one is a happy accident.
I’ve never been on the Vista cruises. Maybe I should try to go next time I’m in Duluth!
Alright, that’s enough. Coming up next? Amanda & Andy!

I’m kinda bummed, since I can no longer mock Ethan for only being 20.
Ah, well!
I spent some of the afternoon with Ethan and decided to boss him around a bit to document this BIG day!
This kid is great and I love him. Not love him, mind you. Though, I did tell him that on April 1st. He freaked out a bit. It was GREAT!!
Want to know more? Ethan enjoys long walks on the beach, taco dip, making me puke (which he did on my birthday and I’m just gonna say that karma sucks…) and the Jersey Shore.
Anyway, here are some of my favorites from this afternoon!
Ethan never smiles. He’s way too cool for that… AND he has wicked sweet eyes.
Just kidding, he totally smiles. Probably way too much, actually. Gosh, it’s like he’s happy all the time or something? Freak.
And he took a pretty cute picture of me. Well done, E!
Now, off for more birthday celebrations and then SLEEP! First wedding of the season tomorrow!!

I got to spend the day with one of my bestfriends, Eve. We decided to put some old t-shirts to good use and make some pretty neat necklaces. What a way to not put something to waste!
So, first you start by cutting up the t-shirts. I let Eve take care of this because 1. I didn’t want to do it and 2. I’m not allowed to use sharp objects.
Then you stretch the fabric out. Apparently, I can’t really do this either, because I turn in to the hulk and tear everything apart.
When you put it all together you get this!
Here’s Eve’s version:
And here’s mine!
And we even created some new outfits for Jer!
Then I think we got bored with the necklace making and started to play cat’s cradle. Buuuuut, it has been a while so they got confused…
Hey look! The Eiffel Tower!
Want a necklace? We’re selling them for $4,000,000! Super cheap, right?
