Dustin & Jenny | Duluth Engagement Photographer

Dustin & Jenny are getting married next May and I’m really looking forward to it. Why, you might ask? Well, Dustin is from Canada and that means he’ll have Canadian guests, right? And if you know me, you know that I love listening to Canadians talk!

I pretty much spent this entire session looking at Jenny’s hair and wondering if I could completely copy it. Unfortunately, I don’t think I could rock it as much as she does. It’s AWESOME! (you’ll see what I mean. Think I could do it?)

Thanks guys for being such great models and putting up with the heat! And don’t worry Jenny, I got pictures of him with a teeth smile too! :- )

I can’t believe that I’ve known Amanda for 4 years now. Ish, that makes me feel old. She and I were in the Legal Studies program at UWS together and quickly bonded over our dislike for public speaking in one of our classes.

She and I have traveled together coast-to-coast. We met up in NYC around Christmas time in 2006 (or was it 2007?) and went to Seattle/Spokane/Missoula together a year ago. Both trips were awesome! I was stoked when she asked me to be her photographer!

And seriously, this couple? SO cute. And daring! It was REALLY cold on Friday when we took these photos. Really, really, really cold. The wind was whipping off the lake and of course I made them meet me in Canal Park (I’m sweet like that, you know).

Here are some of my favorites from the day. I can’t wait for the wedding! Holy gorgeous bride and adorable groom!

I couldn’t wait to post some of these pictures! I was going to try to put some time between the Sneak Peak and the real post, but I got ansy so here goes! And I might be a little partial, but I think they’re adorable (both the photos AND the couple!).

Jamie and Ben are getting married this May in Duluth and I’m thrilled to be their photographer. I tried to keep my enthusiasm to myself when Jamie told me that the colors were involving purple (my favorite lately). These two were awesome to work with! Especially when they put up with me saying “Okay, you do this and you do that!” I really need to start using names!

Rana and Anthony are one of those couples that you can just SEE the love. They’re great! Rana and I have been friends since high school. I was thankful when she asked me to be her wedding photographer instead of a bridesmaid. Let’s face it, I’m not much of a dress-up-and-stand-in-front-of-people kind of girl. I had a great time with these two and can’t wait for their July wedding (I hope it’s not crazy hot!). You guys are great! Congrats!

Ashley and Patrick are a really cute couple from Duluth that came down to take some engagement photos in Stillwater last week. It was a little chilly, but they were great sports. I’m really looking forward to their wedding next October!
